Tommy Scott

Tommy Scott Trio

Tommy Scott grew up in the Welsh mountains, studied classical piano as a child and was considered a prodigy when he first burst onto the jazz scene aged sixteen, performing at numerous international festivals across the UK.

Tommy captivates audiences with a blend of sensitivity and virtuosity. His influences include McCoy Tyner, Herbie Hancock and Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau. He is also well known for his imaginative and melodic compositions, which combine elements of classical, blues, rock and Latin styles into the modern jazz tradition.

Tommy has played with many well-known jazz artists from the UK, US, and europe, such as Jean Toussaint, Julian Siegel, Mornington Lockett, Alex Hitchcock, Misha Mullov-Abbado, Greg Abate, Damon Brown, Duncan Eagles, Dave O’Higgins, Xhosa Cole, Quentin Collins, Rob Luft, Tom Ollendorff, Paul Booth, Raphael Pannier, and Alex Garnett.

His first trio album 'Going For It', was released in 2020 and featured Asaf Sirkis on drums and Yuri Golubev on double bass.

In 2023, Tommy moved to France and his latest project features the amazing rhythm team of Gabriel Pierre on bass and Pierre-Alain Torcanier on drums.
